Common Warning Signs
- Any request for money, at any point
- Investment or cryptocurrency "opportunities"
- Requests for gift cards
- A sudden fabricated emergency requiring financial help
- Requests for a verification code sent to your phone or email
- Suspicious external links, especially shortened ones
- Signs of impersonation — reverse-image-searchable photos, inconsistent details, refusing to video chat
- A story or personal details that keep changing
- Sextortion — threats to share intimate images unless you pay or comply
- Any form of blackmail
Never send money because someone on Fantasi pressures you to do so.
If Something Feels Off
Trust that instinct. You can:
- Block the member. It's instant and silent, they're never told, and they can't reach you unless you undo it.
- Report the account to our trust and safety team, who read every report personally.
See Blocking & Reporting for how both actually work on Fantasi.
Fantasi cannot recover money that's already been sent, and blocking or reporting someone is not an emergency service. If you believe you're in immediate danger, or money has already changed hands, contact local law enforcement — and your bank, if applicable — directly.
