What Verification Does
- Supports an adults-only environment — date of birth is collected at registration, and any application indicating an applicant is under 18 is rejected outright.
- Reduces impersonation and misrepresentation — a government-issued ID is required before an account can be approved, checked for consistency with the name and age on the application.
- Indicates a completed process, not a person — the Identity Verified badge you see on a profile means that account passed this review. It's a statement about the account, reviewed by a person on our team before the profile ever becomes visible to anyone else.
What Verification Does Not Do
Identity Verified does not mean Safety Verified.
- It is not a criminal background check.
- It does not establish whether someone has a criminal history.
- It does not guarantee someone is using Fantasi with good intentions.
- It does not guarantee anything about a member's future behavior.
- It does not mean Fantasi endorses the person.
- It does not mean a member is "safe."
Verification confirms the ID a member submitted is consistent with the age and identity on their application. That's the full extent of it — nothing here should be read as a claim about who someone actually is once you start talking to them.
Use Your Own Judgment
An Identity Verified badge is one input, not a conclusion. Whether someone is trustworthy is something only you can assess, over time, through how they actually communicate and behave — not from a badge on their profile. This matters most before you share personal information or agree to meet someone in person.
